Thinkdigit.com has done a detailed analysis on the advantages and shortcomings of Blackberry Protect and a detailed comparison to other smart phones. One of the biggest positives of Blackberry Protect is the ease with which data can be backed up and the restoration of data. These new features finally bring Blackberry phones at par with Apple's iPhone series and Google's Android phones which had similar feature installed in previous versions as well. Among the cons listed is the fact that the GPS on the Blackberry Protect does not work too well.
