Android Smartphones More Desired Than IPhone Or BlackBerry In US: Study

A new study recently found that Google's Android operating system is most desired OS for Smartphone lovers in United States. Nielson Co. survey of US cell phone consumers showed that out of all planning to buy a new Smartphone, 31 percent preferred Android as an operating system. The Los Angeles Times quoted the research firm that half of those who were surveyed in March 2011 had chosen an Android device. IPhone came second with 30 percent and BlackBerry Smartphones near 11 percent.
The report also showed that 37 percent of Smartphone owners in the US had phones with Android and 27 percent owned IPhone. People now are eyeing on Sony Ericsson coming with two new Android Smartphones with no keyboards.
